About the event

From arrows, spears and knives to string and hammers. Children will love the practical application of exploring how they did it back in history whist being hands on and able to take their own creations home with them.

This session blends really nicely with the kids archaeology dig run on the same day in the mornings. On the Kids digs children get to excavate on a real bronze age site, learn the basics of archaeology, learn about some of the tools and artefacts we are finding here on the farm then in Primitive Tools have a go at making a stone tool in the afternoon!

We recommend booking onto both but you can do either as a standalone session.

Each session will focus on one tool. Parents to accompany children.
